I do not use my e-portfolio solely for studying or for professional purposes. In July 2006, I traveled through California. In order to plan the trip, I created a detailed itinerary. The itinerary contains links to accommodations, popular sights as well as important documents (e.g. copy of passport, car rental agreement,...).
During my stay in California, I used the weblog to tell my family and friends about my experiences. Moreover, the photo album allowed me to show them the first pictures. In addition, my friends used the forum "souvenir orders" to tell me what I should get them in California. The forum "postcard addresses" allowed them to write down their home addresses so I could send them funny pictury postcards.
