Include text modules
gruen_linie - 146409.3
explanation:

Apart from creating links, the factline Community Server (FCS) offers the special possibility to directly include the content of an information object ("fact"), e.g. as full text, elsewhere. This way dynamic content can be combined to a whole without any redundancies. This FCS function is called "factinclude".

concrete examples:

project report
In reality, several project members participate in the creation of a project report. Each team member writes specific parts which are combined forming a complete project report. Thus, the report is separated into individual texts which can be edited and commented on individually. This way, an overview of the status of the individual texts is enabled. At the same time, difficulties which usually arise during the assembly of individual file versions are avoided. With the help of the function "factinclude", these text elements are intregrated into the complete project report as full text. Subsequently, the project report generates itself automatically on the basis of the most current versions of the individual modules.

online manual
Let us take an online manual as an example. Due to the function "factinclude", individual help texts can be included as full text at several positions. The advantage: If a help text is modified, which is quite common in case of updates, it does not need to be updated everywhere it has been included. The modifications are automatically visible everywhere.
