Sergej
Lisov was born on 8 July, 1959 in Kazan (The capital of the Tatar
Republic). Since 1992, he has lived in Vienna together with his wife
and two children. Before moving to Vienna, he worked as an interpreter
in Kazan. Later in Vienna, he worked in a company in Vienna which was
very successful with food machines for the Russian market. (Sergej’s
extensive knowledge of sausages and salami has proved quite useful at
factline several times.)
Afterwards came a huge turning point in his career. Sergej trained
himself in network administrations. His language skills and is
technical knowledge made the transfer between the Old and New economy
fairly easy for him.
Since February 2000, Sergej has been working at factline. He
is responsible for all parts of the former Soviet Union as well as
Central and Eastern Europe.
Sergej is famous for creating Russian atmosphere in the office: his
birthday is a yearly occassion for celebration and according to Russian
tradition the vodka flows like water.
