factline has specialized in internet platforms for virtual knowledge management (“Knowledge Communities”). With that we mean communities (leaning, project, expert groups, etc.), who’s members want to connect by means of “virtual working space” with the goal to exchange, gather and impart knowledge.
For that factline develops software solutions, and offers consulting services.
The result of,
and the central product of this development is a content and community management system for virtual knowledge communities in the inter- and extranet – the  "factline community server" (FCS).

As a second business area, “content licensing”, factline can refer to several years of experience in negotiating content licensing contracts.
Beside that factline have developed contacts with the most important print media in the German-speaking area, in the central and Eastern Europe and also in the former Soviet republics.
