Boyan Filipov has been born on the 4th of February 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Being freelance web designer and developer at filCom design group in 1999, one year later he started work as developer for an outsourced team for Phalanx AG, Vienna Austria.

Since the year of 2000 Boyan is part of the factline team. Having worked several years remotely from Bulgaria, he eventually moved to Vienna, Austria in 2002, becoming the main responsible person for the whole IT at factline in 2005. Since 2011 Boyan is officially a partner and part of the management at factline.
